"The great myrtle liqueur" is made of fresh berries of the shrub dear to the poets, which is since ever a symbol of glory and happy love. This shrub grows naturally in the regions of the Mediterranean sea, and it's known since the ancient times; it is, in fact, mentioned in the Old Testament, being used to interlace wreaths for the young women from Israel when they married. This liqueur, obtained through the maceration of fresh myrtle berries, is a natural ratafià, very good after lunch and suitable to fine guests in the best circumstances. The "Ratafià of the Poets" is in a beautiful silk-screen printed bottle, sealed with sealing wax. Best if served iced.
